A fortnightly show that highlights some of the fine costumes and tailoring you're likely to see in the movies. Presented to you by the editor of The Suits of James Bond, Matt Spaiser, and the host of the Menswear Style Podcast, Pete Brooker.
Around the Block: That Whole Made in England Thing
Just using up some storage data, don't mind me. As I walk around the block with Roger I share some thoughts on the Made in England label that has been so hijacked by brands in recent years.
What does it mean? How can we tell what is really made in England? How many poo's can Roger do in 10 minutes.
I also tack on a little audio from an upcoming episode of the Menswear Style podcast where a special guest and friend Matt Jones, co-founder of Hemingsworth will talk about supplying shorts to Daniel Craig.

Around the Block - Sample Sales & Buying on a Budget
Today I'm just doing a bit of an experiment. Talking to myself as I walk Roger around Montagu Square. I talk about the Alexander McQueen Sample sale that I went to yesterday in Bicester Village.
I get stopped by a lovely lady on the street who says hello to Roger. I think I then talk about building a wardrobe on a minimal budget and what women look for in men.
This is really a bit of waffle as I like to use up my storage data on my monthly server fees.

King of niche podcasts but your here for a reason right? The Bond episodes are fantastic and I love how it’s evolved into other movies (that just so happen to be some of my favourites). I’d also hedge a bet that if you’re this deep down the rabbit hole in Bond, chances are they are some of your favourites too.
Pete’s a great host and gets a lot out of the interviews, I also look forward to the pre/post chat too.
I also like when Pete manages to break Matt’s professional manner and lowers him into something funny!
Amazing show, talking to real tailors, costume designers, great insights
You wouldn’t think I’m in the target audience for this - I love Bond but I know nothing about clothes and can barely dress myself - but it’s consistently funny and fascinating. I love the inclusion of Bond-adjacent properties like Austin Powers and To Catch A Thief.
