47 episodes

The Hunger Games Trilogy, by Suzanne Collins, takes place in a post apocalyptic future were the United States of America has collapsed and supplanted by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts.

Each year, two young representatives between the ages of 12 and 18 are selected from each district to participate in The Hunger Games. The televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch.

If you can get over the brutal concept of young kids fighting each other to the death for people’s entertainment and the fact that this series was originally written for a very young audience, we feel that you will come to enjoy this series like millions of people around the world have.

Cliff and Stephanie invite you to join them as they share their initial reaction to this story as they are reading the series for the the first time and then as they cover the movie(s) and other materials related to the series.

Good walk through of The Hunger Games Trilogy

I found these podcasts to be an insightful and interesting reflection on the books. In general, the female presenter was better at interpretation with the male presenter too often cutting across her and shifting the focus away from an interesting line of discussion. Mansplaining within a tour de force of feminist literature isn’t brilliant.

Mr Day ,

Annoying and not particularly awesome.

Americans :) Its awesome. Yeah, awesome. And did I say, its awesome ! The books are awesome and the films are kinda awesome but sadly our vocabulary isn’t awesome as we only know one awesome adjective. Awesome ! Actually, Stephanie is awesome. I liked her. Sadly, her mate is not awesome and needs to let his awesome co-host speak more.

Actually, after a few more episodes, this is awful. Shrieking, shouting, nonsensical opinions. And thats just him. Bad.

I hate Gale too

I just finished another hunger games podcast (Rebellion radio) and as a strong team Peeta this is one of the best podcasts 😄
