I guest on The Business Show 28th Jan 2021 The Enterprise Doctor Business Show

The Business Show which was broadcast live on Marlow FM 97.5 on 28th Jan 2021 is now available here, with copyright material such as the news, adverts and music edited out.
This wasn’t my show, it was Lawrence Wood’s show, but I was his guest and he’s kindly allowed me to put it out as a podcast – thanks for having me Lawrence, and for letting me do this.
The reason this happened?  Because I’ve just launched a new business – After Redundancy.  The website was nearly live when we were broadcasting, but it’s definitely live now, and already helping people – you can visit it at https://afterredundancy.co.uk/ - please do, and please do share it with anyone for whom you think it may be useful.
My first choice of music was “We can work it out” by The Beatles, because that’s the point of my new business – life can be a challenge for sure, but we can work it out.  If you want to hear it, you’ll find it at https://youtu.be/Qyclqo_AV2M along with a genuine black and white video!
We then start a conversation about After Redundancy, who it helps, how it came to be, and how I help people at various stages of “the redundancy journey”.
As per the standard format of Lawrence’s show, I then do my 60-second pitch and answer the surprisingly difficult question (at that moment!) of how to contact the business.
“Let’s work together” by Canned Heat seemed like a pertinent title, so was my next choice – hear it for yourself at https://youtu.be/elurOwLc1LM .
I’m then given an opportunity to go into more detail about how the business helps people at whatever phase of the redundancy journey they’re at, before we play “Don’t stop believing” by Journey – a song relevant for the title, the message, and even the name of the band!  You can hear an excellent live version of it at https://youtu.be/VcjzHMhBtf0 .
Our final conversation, as always with Lawrence’s show, is to talk about the guest’s favourite networking group  With me being me, I chose two.  You’ll have to listen to the show to find out why, but as promised, links to info on each can be found at https://enterprisedoctor.co.uk/ and https://henleybusinesspartnership.co.uk/3fm/ respectively.
The show closes with “Keep on keepin’ on” by Valley of Wolves – Lawrence’s choice, but a great on.  If you want to hear it, you can do so at https://youtu.be/M-cMYgI5IlI .
I hope you enjoy the show!
