Presenting “The Tales of Punky Dunk, The Cat”, written in 1912, by an unknown author. This book started appearing in a little bookshop in Chicago, but the authors name is lost to antiquity.

Meditation by the Fireside - Stroll Along the Beach Visualisation

Meditation by the Fireside - Stroll Along the Beach Visualisation

Tonight, we have another guided meditation. This time, we are taking a journey together through a tropical forest, and then along a warm, golden sandy beach, utterly revelling in the wonder of nature and the peace of the ocean, before again, finding our tranquil campsite and settling down for sleep.
Visualisation meditation takes our mind on a journey where we imaginatively engage all our senses. All we have to do is follow the voice as it leads us along the trail.
I would love to hear how you find this visualisation meditation. Please let me know by leaving a review or comment, and subscribing to whatever platform you are listening on.

Very soothing

I’ve tried a few sleep podcasts and this is one of my favourites. Some of the earlier stories are not as good; for example the fire crackling overwhelms the story of The Velveteen Rabbit but overall worth listening to.

Anytime relaxation

I’ve recommended Tales by the. Fireside to so many people. There is something for everyone. I find the pain meditation very good and the stories are a good bed time anxiety distraction. Resulting in sleep 90% of the time. So thank you Joe.
