Good morning ladies and gentleman, welcome to bbc news with me umi masviroh who is ready to accompany your day. The theme of our news this morning, is still related to covid with the title "Long Covid in children 'nowhere near scale feared". Let's move to the news, It's BBC....!!! The risk of "long Covid" in children is much lower than many had feared, leading child health experts have said. After the world's biggest study into the issue, the researchers, led by University College London, said they were "reassured". They surveyed 11- to 17-year-olds testing positive for coronavirus in England between September and March. The research suggests somewhere between 2% and 14% still had symptoms caused by Covid 15 weeks later. Sir Terence said he was already "reassured" suggestions, at the height of the pandemic, that half of children could develop long Covid cases were wrong. "It is nowhere near what people thought in the worst-case scenario". Although, he said, the numbers were still "not trivial" and the issue needed to be taken seriously. Most likely to report persistent symptoms were older girls who already had poorer physical and mental health. Those struggling emotionally and mentally could be more attuned to even minor physical illnesses, the researchers said, and a positive coronavirus test could help trigger that. Of all the children in the study, 40% reported feeling sad, worried or unhappy. And the researchers said it was clear the pandemic had a damaging effect on young people because of: the closure of schools, not seeing their friends, concern about the risk from the virus. This showed how important it was to get "back to normal" and have schools open, Dr Whittaker added. That's all from me, don't forget to take care of your family's health during the pandemic. See you next time.

The slave is spotted by the masters’ men who catch him and bring him to the cruel master. The master asks for the slave to be thrown into the lion’s cage. The slave is awaiting his death in the cage when he realizes that it is the same lion that he had helped. The slave rescued the lion and all other caged animals. The Princess and The Pea Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough, but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should be. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a real princess. One evening a terrible storm came on; there was thunder and lightning, and the rain poured down in torrents. Suddenly a knocking was heard at the city gate, and the old king went to open it. It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess. “Well, we’ll soon find that out,” thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses. On this the princess had to lie all night. In the morning she was asked how she had slept. “Oh, very badly!” said she. “I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It’s horrible!” Now they knew that she was a real princess because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds. Nobody but a real princess could be as sensitive as that. So the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess; and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still be seen, if no one has stolen it.

After knowing the meaning of the vocab that I didn't know before, I became more immersed in singing it. Besides that, I also look for other songs that have similar words in the lyrics of the song. After I practice it in my daily life, I feel so impressed and get new things too for sure. I also became more excited to learn English through songs. I also like both songs, because they fit my musical taste very well. It makes me not easily bored because in addition to learning the language, I also make it as refreshing. It's great to get a new experience from here. I really like English, especially songs in English.

The Lion and the Mouse A lion was once sleeping in the jungle when a mouse started running up and down his body just for fun. This disturbed the lion’s sleep, and he woke up quite angry. He was about to eat the mouse when the mouse desperately requested the lion to set him free. “I promise you, I will be of great help to you someday if you save me.” The lion laughed at the mouse’s confidence and let him go. One day, a few hunters came into the forest and took the lion with them. They tied him up against a tree. The lion was struggling to get out and started to whimper. Soon, the mouse walked past and noticed the lion in trouble. Quickly, he ran and gnawed on the ropes to set the lion free. Both of them sped off into the jungle. Little Red Riding Hood Once, there lived a little girl who liked to wear a red riding cloak, so everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her mother asked her to deliver a basket of goodies to her grandma’s house. Before leaving, her mother said, “Go straight to Grandma’s house. Don’t dawdle along the way and don’t talk to a stranger!” She nodded and said, “Don’t worry, mom. I’ll be careful.” On her way, she met a big hungry wolf that asked, “Where are you going, little girl?” She replied, “I want to visit my grandma, Mr. Wolf!” Knowing it, the wolf then quickly run to Grandmother’s house. He came there much before Little Red Riding Hood and knocked on the door. When Grandma opened the door, he tied and locked her up in the cupboard. The wicked wolf then disguised himself as the Grandma by wearing her clothes. He lay on her bed, waiting for Little Red Riding Hood. When Little Red Riding Hood reached her grandmother house, she found the door was unlocked and went inside to her Grandma’s bedroom. “Oh my, what big ears you have, Grandma!” she said in surprise. “The better to hear you with, my dear,” replied the wolf. “Oh my, what big eyes you also have, Grandma!” said her again. “The better to see you with, my dear,” replied the wolf. “And what big teeth you have, Grandma!” she said again. “The better to eat you with!” growled the wolf pouncing on her. She could avoid the wolf and started to scream loudly. Hearing the scream, a good woodsman in the forest came running to the house quickly. He rescued Little Red Riding Hood by beating the wolf. He then got Grandma out of the cupboard. Grandma immediately hugged her little granddaughter and thanked the woodsman for saving them. At last, the wolf ran away into the forest never to be seen again Little Red Riding Hood had learnt some new lessons that she should obey her parent and never spoke to strangers ever again.

The European Union has threatened to impose new sanctions on Belarus for allegedly sending migrants from the Middle East across its borders into the European Union. New species of dinosaur with ‘unusually large nose’ discovered - BBC News A new species of dinosaur with a big nose has been discovered on the British Isle of Wight. Retired doctor Jeremy Lockwood wants to prove that the two most common dinosaurs on the island aren't the only ones that have been there. He goes through the old dinosaur bone storage box and when he puts the skulls together, realizes that they belong to a completely new species - brightstoneus simmondsi. Dr Lockwood was so sure that there was another species of dinosaur, he decided to search through the Natural History Museum's massive collection of fossils to see what he could find. He explained, "I've seen dinosaur bones that are reportedly from the same species, but I've been baffled as to why they would look so different." After four years of searching through lots of boxes of bones, Dr Lockwood was able to reconstruct the skull of a dinosaur that had been in storage since 1978. But there was something different about this reconstructed skull that made it stand out from the other fossils in the archive.

Icha : Good morning, Umi. How are you feeling on this sunny morning? Umi : Good morning too, Icha. Of course I am always happy because my days are always filled with joy. Anyway, how about you? Icha: Ohhhh, of course I'm the same as you. We're always the same, right? Ha ha ha ha. Umi : Yeah, that's true. Do you know Icha, I just watched a movie last night. The title is "Nisekoi" which is a Japanese movie. Icha : Wow, so you like watching movies now? What's the genre? Umi : Eeemmm, not really. What I watch is the romantic genre. It's just as entertainment when stressed because of college assignments. Icha : Hahahaha, I also like watching movies when healing. By the way Have you finished your assignments? Umi : Of course the answer is not yet, hahahaa. Last night I was so tired that I fell asleep. Icha: Seriously? I'm like you too. Last night I felt very tired and sleepy. I think we are too tired and need enough rest. Umi : I totally agree with what you said. What if we watch a movie together tonight? Icha : That's a brilliant idea. How about we watch the movie "Squid Game?" I've watched it before and it's really fun. The ending was totally unexpected. Umi : Really? I haven't had time to watch it until it's finished. Please give me the spoiler ! Icha : Of course, why not? In this series, it is told that there are 7 Korean children's games where what was actually fun turned out to be something scary for the participants, there were 456 participants who took part in this squid game. But what is scary is that anyone who fails in every game is at stake. And who can finish the game to the end he will get a very fantastic amount of money. Umi : Hmmm, quite interesting. But I don't think I will be able to watch it to the end. Icha : No need to worry. Let's just watch another movie. I want to watch the movie you just said at the beginning. Umi : Well, of course you can. Do you want me to give you a little spoiler? Icha : Eemmm, okay, but just a little. I want to see it clearly later when I watch the movie. Umi : Well, the movie is about two people who promised as a child to live together when they grow up. However, in the end the man fell in love with another woman and forgot his promise to her. It's really sad. I even cried even though I've watched it many times. Icha : Oh really? That's very touching. I can't imagine watching it later. Do you think the movie is very dramatic? Umi : Hahahaha, not really. In addition to romance, there is also a funny element. So we will also be made to laugh. Icha : I can't wait to watch it! Let's invite other friends to join too. Umi : Wow, that's amazing! Why didn't I think of that? Then, I will invite Kaori and Santika. Icha : Alright, let's heal together tonight. You're not busy right? Umi : Oh of course not, I'm not doing anything and I’m free. Icha : Okay, see you tonight! I'll prepare snacks to eat while watching. Umi : Then I will also prepare so many snacks hahaha. See you tonight, Icha ! Let's have fun together! Icha : Yeah, let's go! Bye bye! Umi: Byeee!
