Refreshing, relaxed and funny NHL podcast
One-liner: Women chatting hockey and everything (both directly and indirectly...) associated with it. Pens-oriented in the East Coast coverage. Very funny.
There are lots of hockey podcasts out there but (in my experience) 99% of them are: headed up by men, very stats-oriented, focussed on the Serious Business Of The Game, and often gloss over the (good and bad) social/cultural impact those in the hockey industry have on society.
Listening to Anna and Laura dismantle East Coast hockey, and Kate and Kyra tackle the West, is like eavesdropping on the best hockey chat ever. Opinions on GMs, 'gram stories, goals, and Geno (or Johnny Hockey if you're listening to K&K) abound. You'll also learn which NHL player is most like a pug which, frankly, if that doesn't sell it, nothing will.
