We all go through seasons in our lives. I believe I'm at the shedding/pruning stage and it's painful.  Difficult to the point where anxiety has kicked in the doors that held me mentally stable.  It's new territory and  I'm scared.

My soul craves stillness and clarity but doesn't know how to.  But I'm giving myself permission to feel and experience these new and old emotions, to let them be, give them a voice and then let them go.

Hard times bring out the best or worst in us, especially in a pandemic like the one we are in.   Many persons out of fear have turned their backs on those in need.   But that's not the story of Nazila Mais, Airport Service Agent in France and former English Language Assistant.  She has opened up her heart and home to house Jamaican assistants who are stranded without a place to stay.  As they say, not all heroes wear a cape.

Most of us are taught to put away money for "rainy days." In the middle of this pandemic, a lot of persons are now understanding why that was sound advice.    But can we start now?  Is now a good time to start saving and investing?  

Should we also have a will so our assets are distributed the way we desire after we die?
