Taylor Butler is a 21 year old senior at NC State University. Her major is communication. She is a freelance makeup artist who began doing makeup back in 2012. Her creative eye for art and passion for makeup gave rise to her own business, Her Majesty. Her Majesty is inspired by the diversity of skin tones and believes int he beauty in all cultures.
Being a woman of color herself, Taylor became aware of the struggles people of color face in the makeup industry. She states, "whether it be the misrepresentation in ads, lack of diversity in product lines, or the lack of diversity among makeup artists, people of color have never been catered because of their complexion.
Her Majesty does not discriminate and aspires to uplift each and everyone of its client. Taylor loves being able to interact and build relationships with all of her clients. Her purpose is to make each client look and feel like royalty, which inspires her mantra, "When addressing someone of royalty, you must refer to them as majesty." Taylor believes in providing excellence through professional work and quality customer service. Taylor strives to exceed the desires, goals, and expectations of each client to the fullest. She has been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow within the business. She would like to thank all of her family, friends, and clients for their love and support.
