Talking Luft! with Allan Davis. Ep 13

Talking Luft! with Allan Davis. Ep 13

Allan Davis, or Alby as he’s known, is an Australian sprinter who raced in the era of LUFT, riding for the most iconic teams of the time such as Mapei, ONCE-Eroski and Quickstep. And I’m officially jealous of his kit collection. I sat down with Alby, and we chat about cap style back in those […]

Talking Luft! with Lachlan Morton. Ep 12.

Talking Luft! with Lachlan Morton. Ep 12.

Lachy Morton, you’re sure to have heard his name. He’s a teammate of mine on EF Education First and is the alternate racing king. I’ve had him on the podcast in the past, and I’ve finally got him back on talking some LUFT. We dive straight into cap style, which, of course, includes some gravel […]

Talking Luft with Alberto Bettiol. Ep 11.

Talking Luft with Alberto Bettiol. Ep 11.

Talking Luft is back after my first week back racing in Italy. It seemed only fitting to have my Italian teammate, and true Tuscan, Alberto Bettiol on the pod. If you haven’t checked out my On-road diary from that week over on The Cycling Podcast, you’ve gotta have a listen! I chat with almost everyone […]

Talking Luft! with Mike Woods. Ep 10.

Talking Luft! with Mike Woods. Ep 10.

He’s a crowd favourite, and rightfully so. Mike Woods, or Woodsie, is a Canadian team mate of mine. He’s easy to chat to and always has a great story to tell. I’ve had him on the pod a couple of times before; post his epic La Vuelta stage win in 2018 and in the Giro […]

Talking Luft! with Paul De Geyter. Ep 9.

Talking Luft! with Paul De Geyter. Ep 9.

I had him on The Cycling Podcast last week, my old rider agent, Paul De Geyter, talking all things contract negotiation and managing some of the rider greats. Be sure to head over and listen to that one! He’s a great personality and this week I’ve got him Talking Luft, in a fun 10 min […]

Talking Luft! with Jens Keukeleire. Ep 8.

Talking Luft! with Jens Keukeleire. Ep 8.

It’s another episode of my mini series of laid-back chats, Talking Luft, with Jens Keukeleire. I find out how Jensie wears his casquette, and that he’d go a Pantani Bandana if he could. Plus his Belgian training routes, weird breakfasts and Quarantine revelations. If you haven’t already, head over to The Cycling Podcast to listen […]

Great insight

Mitch,
The choice of guests gives an insight into the peloton which - for me at least - matches words to a lot of the images we see. The picture of Adam Hansen hacking a laptop cable or Tom Southam avoiding sitting on an EF car bonnet adds an extra level of interest. Your podcasts have kept me sane throughout the lockdown as I’ve done my best to support key worker children in school. Although I really didn’t appreciate just how complex the individual nuances of coffee can be!
Cheers,
Tim

Lovely Poddy Maite!!

Thoroughly engaging, varied guests, always interesting. Best of... Hayman (of course), Hansen, Sveino (fascinating), Watto (40 years?!?), Millar (legend), Rusty’s Mrs and best of all Voice of Cycling Phil Liggett. Mitch, you’re a natural!
