I am Zinnia’s aunt so am not going to say anything about how amazing she and her family are - because they already know that.
What I thought I already knew was how amazing Helen is for carrying Hugo into this world.
I was both moved and fascinated to hear her talk about her views and her experience. In this podcast Helen talks with such candour of the different aspects that made her decide to be a surrogate, the impact on her family, the process and the reality of carrying someone else’s embryo.
For anyone considering surrogacy this podcast is a must listen - and for anyone not considering it, it is a must listen as a narrative of compassion and perseverance making a difference.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming

Zinnia and Maya are two amazing but very down-to-earth and funny women who have gone through every parents worst nightmare. That they are able to have gone through what they have and are able to speak so eloquently and movingly about it is incredible. I couldn’t stop listening and cried and laughed in equal measure. A gem of a podcast.

Incredible women, invaluable resource

This podcast is honest, sensitive and no-nonsense - remarkable considering the impossible topic they’re discussing. Such an amazing resource for anyone in a similar situation, and also to shine a light on things we just don’t talk about openly enough.
