Creativity for Mental Health : a Dive into the Making Stitches Podcast Archives
Hello, I’m thrilled to be back with another series of episodes of Making Stitches Podcast. This time I’m doing something a bit different, instead of launching the new series with a new interview, I’ve taken a dive into the archives.Since I last spoke to you, Making Stitches celebrated its 4th birthday (which I think is pretty decent in podcasting) so I thought I’d indulge in a look back at some of the voices which have featured up until this point. One theme which has been consistent throughou...

Great podcast
I always love listening to all the interviews on here. As a crocheted and a knitter, I haven’t ventured into sewing but the latest interview with Stitched Up has inspired me to try. Do keep them coming. The diversity of crafters interviewed is great.
My favourite podcast
Thank you for a wonderful podcast. I discovered crafting in lockdown and this podcast has been the perfect companion. I often listen whilst walking my spaniel Gus and come back motivated and brimming with ideas. Sadly there are too few hours in the day. I’m looking forward to the next series.
Hooray for Clare
It was amazing to listen to the episode where Clare Albans talked about her journey to becoming a business owner. I love how open she is.
I did her Happy Stitch Project and it was great to see her talk about the mistakes she’s made. It really helped me to figure out where I was going wrong and to not worry too much about how the stitches came out.
Her studio is amazing and there’s always a warm welcome in the haberdashery. I’ve lost count of how many of her kits I’ve done. They always bring me joy!
