Michael Juergens is a super wine geek who started the Kingdom of Bhutan's wine industry from scratch, something that hasn't been done in the world in 200 years, after discovering in 2016 that the country had no vineyards.His company, Bhutan Wine Company, currently has approximately 200 acres of vineyards, growing 16 different grape varietals—nine red and seven white—spread across nine sites in Bhutan.
