Val Bourne

I so loved your chat again with Val Bourne. She had a mine of gardening information and it certainly comes across her great love of plants! I loved it when she said “plant densely to keep the carbon in the ground”. That’s going to be my excuse now when I’m asked where are my “naughty spends” are going to go!

TJ Maher

I think this is one of my favourite episodes of the Mike the Gardener podcast. There’s such a strong connection between Mike and his guest who have so much in common, the conversation flows. TJ speaks so eloquently about his life as an artist and gardener, his strong belief that we should show respect for and care of the creatures who share our space and about how the difficulties he faced as a young man have shaped him. I’m looking forward to reading his new book, Grounded in the Garden, to learn more about his beautiful garden and about the creative man who shaped it.

A treat for your listening ears

I highly recommend these informative, and amusing podcasts from @mike_thegardener. 👌🏻I learned of Mike through his Instagram page and his ‘ Sunday Stroll’. A, live and interactive, online walk with Mike around his garden. As a relative novice I’m learning much from him and his delightful guests, about all things gardening… and sometimes other related topics ☺️🌻👏

I’m currently binging all episodes 🫡🍀
