Adam Riches is an artist that has amassed fans worldwide with the manner in which he produces portraits. Whilst ‘scribbling’, with pen onto paper, an imaginary form slowly develops among the loose lines. This method creates ghostly figures, almost floating from the paper.
Adam also produces equally ghostly portraits on canvas using oil paint, rather than floating from a white surface, like his drawings, his painted figures appear to be slowly sinking into their deep and dark backgrounds.
