She currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commissioner for Stonewall Sports, sits on Fargo’s Arts and Culture Commission, is a board member for The Arts Partnership, and previously served on Fargo’s Native American Commission.
She's now running for Fargo City Commission and joins Joel Heitkamp to talk about her campaign and goals.

Tennessee Representative talks about bill allowing teachers to carry guns in schools
04/24/24: Bo Mitchell has represented the people of District 50 (Nashville area) in the Tennessee House of Representatives since 2012. The Tennessee House is composed of 75 Republicans and 24 Democrats, and the Senate has 27 Republicans and 6 Democrats.
Representative Mitchell joins Joel on "News and Views" to talk about a Tennessee bill that would allow teachers to carry a gun at school. It passed the House yesterday by a vote of 68-28, and passed the Senate earlier this month by a vote of 26-5, and is now heading to Gov. Bill Lee's desk.
