obj_podcast is a gamedev podcast featuring members of the GameMaker community. Topics range from the path of an indie dev, to the intricacies of GameMaker, to our favorite foods.
The GameMaker community is known for its inclusive, close knit relationships, and attracts people from many different backgrounds, each with a unique story to tell. This podcast is your one stop shop to find them.
Since its beginnings, the majority of content for GameMaker has revolved around teaching and sharing. In this spirit, we continue the trend, not just discussing our project, but our lives, and our different paths as game devs, both professional and hobbyist.

Topher & Seabass
Friend of the show, Topher drops by, and Seabass hops over into the guest chair to discuss the games they've worked on together, as well as their recent trip to Pax East. The trip was not only their first time taking a game to a convention, but was also their first time meeting in person. The group discusses what the work on their recent game has been like, the experience of watching people play their game in person, as well as a very questionable offer presented to Topher by a mysterious Uber driver.

obj_clubhouse 1 - Hollow Knight
In this jam-packed episode, Sanbox, lazyeye, Grace, Mimpy, and FriendlyCosmonaut play the award winning game Hollow Knight by Australian indie duo Team Cherry (this episode contains many spoilers of the game.)
Our host's opinions are split, with some praising it and others with a more negative disposition towards it. We also discover exactly how bad lazyeye is at video games, in contrast to "the Gamer Girl Grace".
Many thanks to Mimpy, who had to redub his entire audio track due to unfortunate data loss.
