Fire Lieutenant Ret. Kenny Mitchell Jr., knows firsthand the challenges that first responders and their families face.
During his 21-year career, he's seen the worst that life has to offer. After losing a friend to suicide, Kenny launched Operation Yellow Tape with a mission to make the stigma of mental health struggles in first responders and their families a setback of the past.
With the tagline, "There are too many of us to ever feel alone," Kenny shares his mental health struggles along with the pressures and demands of the job, to connect with his community on a deeper level. His raw authenticity allows him to deliver powerful messages and practical advice that resonate with fellow first responders ensuring that listeners will leave with practical tools they can implement immediately.
