    In this episode we review the The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care Conference 2023. After a five-year break, the conference was back and held at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
    The conference programme is aimed to cater to a broad range of practitioners from first aiders, paramedics, doctors, nurses, students, first responders, voluntary aid workers and remote medics, multi agency teams including police, fire, and armed forces.

    In this episode we discuss Callum’s career journey starting with a move from Australia to the UK and becoming a Specialist Paramedic in Critical Care.     Ukraine Paramedic: Val Cochrane

    Val Cochrane qualified as a paramedic in 1999 with Greater Manchester Ambulance Service, after working as a technician for three years. Outside of her work as a Community Paramedic for NWAS, Val has volunteered as a medic for the Isle of Mann TT, and as medical officer for Glossop Mountain Rescue Team. Last August, Val went to Ukraine with a humanitarian charity, UK-Med.

    In this episode we discuss Val's career, her work as a motorsport medic, and the three months she spent in Ukraine.

Plenty of inspirational guests

Some great guests, I find the hosts also ask some great questions. Interesting, informative and also good for wider PHEC understanding. Should definitely be on your subscription list if interested in UK Pre-Hospital Care.
