    John Laidlaw

    John Laidlaw

    John is director of rural touring agency Live and Local and one of the UK’s leading champions of rural touring. He has played a significant role in making sure that high quality live arts and culture is made accessible to the 19% of the UK population that live in rural communities, and was recently  awarded an MBE by the Queen for services to the cultural sector. He spoke to Dr Vishalakshi Roy from University of Warwick on 6 July 2020.

    Joseph Prouse

    Joseph Prouse

    Joseph is a highly experienced actor, singer, dancer and musician.  He has worked extensively in theatre in West End musicals and shows at the National Theatre, in addition to working in film, most recently 'Death on the Nile' directed by Sir Kenneth Brannagh. He also runs his own function band 'Bloomfield Avenue' and is an associate tutor and choreographer at Guildford School of Acting. He spoke to Dr Heidi Ashton from University of Warwick on 26 June 2020.

    Marla Kether

    Marla is a 21 year old jazz musician, producer and DJ. She’s been playing bass since the age of 12 and has performed in festivals including Glastonbury and collaborated with talented musicians like Yazmin Lacey. She’s still in her final year of a Chemistry degree at Bristol and was Just beginning to switch to a full-time music career this year when Covid-19 hit us. She spoke to Dr Chris Bilton from University of Warwick on 30 June 2020.
