A brilliant mix of acknowledged classics and rarer choices

It’s always a better morning when I check my podcasts to find another Rule Of Three has landed. The hosts are great, warm without falling into the trap of constant braying laughter like lesser podcasters, and they obviously have the ultimate comedy contacts list.

The intelligent discussion of the guests and their subjects are always fascinating whether or not I was previously familiar with either.

Katherine Jakeways on Ever Decreasing Circles and Cariad Lloyd on Whose Line Is It Anyway are my personal favourites but I haven’t heard a dud edition yet.

Great Podcast

A really great series of interviews with people passionate about their chosen shows / films.

So often programmes that take comedy apart render it flat and dead, but the passion and fun that everyone invests into the episode’s topic just bring the subjects to life and you fall in love with them again.

The episodes are filled with wisdom and knowledge earned from hard graft. They’re a great inspiration for a new writer / performer and a handy reminder for seasoned pros.

I’m rationing these as I don’t want to run out of them.

Superb.
