Theresa May heads to the Welsh hills for recess and Llandudno turns red for the Labour conference Sharp End

    • News & Politics

It's recess for our politicians and you could be forgiven for thinking a general election might be on the cards as Theresa May headed for the Welsh hills for a walking holiday. Adrian Masters was joined in the studio by Professor Laura McAllister from Cardiff University and Labour MP Chris Elmore to discuss Brexit and what next with the cross-party talks.

Elsewhere, we were in Llandudno for the Welsh Labour conference where we heard from First Minister Mark Drakeford and UK party leader Jeremy Corbyn, while conference goers mulled over the question of a second referendum and tried to move on from its anti-semitism issues with the help of the Jewish Labour Movement.
