Really easy to follow, condensed news. I normally find it hard to concentrate to longer news podcasts so this is perfect for the morning
Unbiased news summaries, ideal for ELT / ESL
Having worked as an ELT/ESL teacher for a number of years, I recommend Send7 as an extremely useful resource for teachers looking for regular, high-quality materials. The hosts’ pronunciation is clear and at an appropriate speed, the news items are not too long, and the difficulty levels are appropriate for a wide range of learning levels.
Additionally, as someone who is also heavily opinionated about politics, I was impressed by the impartial nature of the news coverage. This aspect in particular makes it very suitable for use as learning materials for any ethical ELT/ESL teachers.
