Incredibly helpful and fun!
As someone who is trying to learn German, I have always found the listening the most difficult part. But since listening to this podcast, I’ve been improving! I’m glad I found this podcast because it makes language learning easy and entertaining! Would recommend!!!!
Fun, unique stories with human touch
What I like most about this podcast is its stories: funny and unique, almost crazy, and still with human touch, like about a director walking around Berlin meeting otherworldly folks, and about an East Berliner traveling the West without spending a penny.
It offers unobtrusive explanations in English and in German in alternating episodes, which is another strength.
I think it would work best for learners on levels A2-B1.
I’m very grateful for the podcasters - please keep it going! 🙏
Great for people learning German
As someone who is learning German I’m really enjoying these podcasts. I’d describe myself as intermediate level. I have a reasonable vocabulary but am not confident constructing sentences. These short stories are read at a pace I can follow and you have the option of helpful English explanation along the way or straight German. I’m also enjoying the subject material and getting to know the city of Berlin. I would definitely recommend these podcasts to other German learners.
