Straight From The Off welcomes Gerard Smith to the Podcast. Ged was a midfielder who could do everything, and his presence in central midfield for Pineapple and APH in particular brought much success to those teams. APH had a fantastic run of league title wins in the Liverpool County Premier League and Gerard was the Captain of that great side. He tells us of his battles against Waterloo Dock & Allerton and playing semi-pro football. Various trials at clubs and enjoying games of football in the streets of Dingle with Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler. He talks about his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
