An important update from Mickey and Angie about the future of Autoimmune Wellness

An important update from Mickey and Angie about the future of Autoimmune Wellness

Today I’m sharing that after 10 years helping build and lead this movement and seven years at Autoimmune Wellness and AIP Certified Coach with Mickey, I have decided to step away from my work in the AIP space. In a general sense, I am making this decision because I believe that slowing down and practicing community care are the next right things for me. I ...

An awesome resource

A beautifully researched, clear and well presented programme to help anyone suffering from autoimmune disease onto a path to wellness. Honest, open and humane dialogue between Angie and Mickey sharing their very personal experiences brings the programme to life. As someone on an ongoing journey back to wellness this was not just a fabulous reminder of the key elements to seeking wellness, but also a great resource to point family members towards, to explain in someone else's voice what living with autoimmune disease can feel like.
Thoughtfully augmented by interviews with other subject matter specialists, the programme is easily digestible and full of helpful advice. Just brilliant.

I don't usually write reviews

I have listened to the first 4 episodes and I can't express how happy I am to have found this podcast. I was recently diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and it has been a long and painful journey which has deteriorated and gone undiagnosed for seven years. So far, just hearing someone talk about dealing with it made me almost cry as I have been going through all the same emotional issues that come with it all and mostly alone. When they went through their feelings it felt like it could have been the voice in my head talking, the one that I feel most healthy people around me would never be able to fully understand. I have felt hurt by the way I've been treated by doctors until now, the pain, the incessance of it all, having to explain myself to people and feeling they don't understand, coping with work, and most difficult of all letting go of activities I loved so much and that formed a big part of my life. Just knowing that I'm not alone has helped and I will be listening to and following the autoimmune diet protocol. Much love to you guys for sharing your knowledge and stories.

Easy and informative listening!

Mickey and Angie know first hand what it's like having an autoimmune disease and share in these podcasts how to live well with one (or maybe more!). They're all free to listen to, have so much information and are really interesting! They're not massively long which is great so you can easily fit these in and listen anywhere! I followed the AIP diet when I was diagnosed with my autoimmune disease and it allowed my body to heal. I am now in remission but there is still always advice to take from these podcasts that are invaluable.
