The Bloody Showdown That Altered History! | The Peterloo Massacre Macabre London

    • True Crime

The Industrial Revolution was a new way of life for everyone. This new reign of machines heralded in a new era in workers rights or in fact highlighted that...there were none! Pair this with the fact that only 4000 men in England were allowed to vote, this meant working class people had no say in what happened to them and the only people who did, had no idea what it was like to be them. People had had enough and it was time to make their voices heard...this however would result in a battle which...well the outcome of which, isn't what you would expect.
Today on Macabre London (and Manchester) , we uncover the origins of the Industrial Revolution and the horrors of The Peterloo Massacre
