When freelance writer Louise Ellis disappeared after leaving her Ottawa home on April 22 1995, the person leading the search for her was her devoted partner, Brett Morgan. Case 283: Kris Kremers & Lisanne Froon

When Dutch friends Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon set out for a six-week adventure in Panama in 2014, they were ready for the trip of a lifetime. But after failing to show up for a planned tour in the mountain town of Boquete, search parties sprung into action.

Had the two young women gotten lost while hiking the popular Pianista trail, or was something more sinister at play?

Best Podcast

By far and away the best true crime podcast. The depth they go in to each case is truly staggering, whilst always being empathetic towards families who have been effected.
Can’t recommend enough. Outstanding podcast.
I wish they would release more than 1 per week as I’m all caught up and have resorted to re listening to old ones. Excellent work all involved!

Hands down best crime podcast

Brilliantly writing and storytelling. No opinions or speculation just facts. The way it is written is sometimes like a feature film, with unrelated times and places coming together to form the picture of the crime. I am still going through the older episodes and drawing the day I run out. Keep up the excellent work!

The best true crime podcast!

Great podcast, interesting stories without lots of the presenters interjections and thoughts. They cover a wide range of cases but do not sensationalise it. Always an interesting listen.
