There's Always SOMETHING - Shades of Blue
It's a deep, dark Shade of Blue this week after back-to-back losses for Sporting KC.
Do they get a pass for having to deal with injuries?
SOMETHING always gets in the way. It's a different thing each week. SKC simply isn't good enough to overcome these issues which all teams face.

Comets headed to the finals - The Blue Turf
Erik Bergrud from the Kansas City Comets broadcast team and Thad Bell from the Kansas City Soccer Journal recorded the latest episode of The Blue Turf for the 2023-24 season. Erik and Thad discuss the Comets winning the Eastern Conference Finals. A big lead and dominate performance for the Comets through three quarters but the Wave did not give up. Milwaukee went sixth-attacker and made an incredible comeback to take the lead. It took a late goal by MASL Defender ofthe Year Robert Palmer to send it to overtime. A clutch goal by Christian Anderaos in overtime gave the win to Kansas City.
Next up is Chihuahua!

Thad Loses His Mind - Shades of Blue
Our own Thad Bell is as worked up as he's ever been after Sporting KC again dropped points at home, this time to the worst possible foe, St. Louis City.
It was objectively a great game of soccer and we cover all the golazos, saves, and referees. Plus we take away all of the STL goals for being lucky.
Thad and Cody don't hold back on their frustrations after Peter Vermes' postgame comments.
It's not all doom and gloom as the Current pick up another nice win, making them undefeated through five. Plus the Comets got a big away win in the playoffs.

St. Louis ****ty - Shades of Blue
Cheyenne is back with us to talk you through rivalry week as STL come to town on Saturday!
Apologies if you notice a change in audio quality this episode, had to use the stream audio this time.
We cover who to watch for St. Louis, plus some key players they're missing. Will Remi Walter play this weekend?
Sporting KC desperately need a win at home, they've won just one home game so far this year.
Does this team lack on-field leadership?
