The Creative - Christie Lee Manning The Backstage Revolution

    • Arts

"I'm lost and where I think I belong doesn't exist - so I'm going to make it"

So excited to kick-off the new series with actor, dancer, educator, ultimate multi-hyphenate, Christie Lee Manning. Honestly, I can't even put my finger on what it is but she is enthralling! I suppose that must be what makes her such a fantastic storyteller. We chat about her career and what has led her to this point, how she feeds her passion, and how lockdown has changed the way she sees herself and the industry. Both Ceri and I left the interview completely reinvigorated - it's the Christie effect, as I'm sure anyone that knows her can testify. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Enjoy this episode? Guess what - that's "the arts" and it's everywhere! Theatres across the country face imminent closure and we are close to losing the beating cultural heart of the UK. Let's not let that happen! We understand that money is tight right now but, if you can, even a small donation will help to keep UK theatres afloat.
