It's the penultimate episode of season 3 of the Creative Productive Podcast and it's nearly time for a Christmas switch off! But are you ready for it? The run up to Christmas can get stressful if we aren't prepared to take a break and we really don't want to go back to work in January feeling stressed because we didn't prepare for our return.

In this episode I talk about why it's important to take time to switch off from productivity over Christmas and how you can make it happen by following my top tips for taking a break.

Being Productive with Anxiety with Daisy Martin from MyGreenCow

Being Productive with Anxiety with Daisy Martin from MyGreenCow

Today on the podcast I have Daisy, a full time creative blogger also known as mygreencow. Daisy started her business when she was figuring out what she could do that didn't involve just following the path of going straight to Uni as well as having a career that wouldn't clash with her anxiety. After starting a jewellery business nad realising that she could do things her way in a way that would work for her Daisy has built her business to do just that and make money!

I initially asked Daisy to be on my podcast around a year ago but at that time she politely declined and said 'yes but not yet'. But now we've sat down and recorded it and I wanted to talk about how she got to the place where she was ready to do something that was scary. I definitely think this episode will help anyone who struggles with fear and anxiety when trying to pursue their projects and dreams.

    Are you Surviving or Thriving?

    Are you Surviving or Thriving?

In this solo episode I explore some of my recent reflections on the difference between surviving and thriving as I moved through a big transition period where it felt like every day was just focussed on getting through it in one piece!

I dive deeper into the difference between the two and what it means to be surviving and also thriving and how productivity and introducing lasting productivity systems can support you to survive so that you can then focus on how you thrive!

If you need help getting a daily survival strategy in place take a look at Project: Productivity my self led guide that covers the mindset and strategy for a more positive relationship with our productivity. Read more about it and sign up here.

Gaining the Confidence to Put Yourself Out There With Maddy Shine

Gaining the Confidence to Put Yourself Out There With Maddy Shine

My guest today is Maddy Shine the QUEEN of being visible and putting yourself out there with confidence. We had such a great conversation about what it takes and what it means to show up and be productive. We talk about taking up the space we deserve in the business world as women and what stops us from showing up and taking that space.

She also gives out some really practical tips to help you start putting yourself out there online without feeling really vulnerable. And of course we had a lot of fun. It was a really motivating inspiring conversation for me so I hope it does the same for you as you listen!

Supporting Each Other in Business With Laura Holmes

Supporting Each Other in Business With Laura Holmes

In this episode I sit down with Laura Holmes from Mindful Confidence to talk all about supporting each other in business. Laura and I 'met' through Instagram and since then we've acted as each others unofficial cheerleaders, often catching up every few months for a coffee to talk about all the ups and downs in our business.

So we decided to record a conversation talking about what it means to have someone else supporting you and how it can actually have a really positive impact on your own attitude in your business. Laura and I are both big encouragers of reaching out and connecting with people who understand what you're going through as a way to feel more confident and less alone.

Perfectly Productive…

Sarah is an amazing mentor and her podcasts have been a great help alongside her resources in maintaining and nurturing my mindset to balance being creative and productive. Check out the Burnout podcast, and many others depending on what you need at the time.

Creating headspace

I love this podcast, she has helped me realise I can do what I want and not what I think other people want. I’d been stressing over trying to make enough YouTube videos for people to watch, but my brain was stuck on what to do, until I realised it was my choice and nobody really cared if you have twenty or a thousand videos. Thanks for releasing the pressure 💜
