Korina from Neonhive joins us for a chat, Toys for Bob are finally free and Rockstar are forcing their devs back to the studio.
Another week, another Finger Guns Podcast! Hello again everyone, it's always a pleasure to be here though eh? Join Rossko, Kat, Josh and Miles for another bout of gaming news and nonsense from your favourite Finger Guns crew talking all about the wonders of Crash and Spyro developer Toys for Bob going independent and free from Activision at last. What are we gonna see them make next? The possibilities are endless and it's a nice bit of good news in the never-ending sadness that is the games industry these days. Still! We also talk about Rockstar forcing their employees back full time to finish up Grand Theft Auto 6, and well, let's say we have some opinions on this.
And in rare but most exciting news we have an interview! This week Rossko sat down with Neonhive boss Korina Abbott to talk all about their new publishing wing and how on earth that came about, along with Neonhive as a whole and their hand in some of the biggest indie games of the last few years and Korina's history in the gaming industry. It's a cracking chat that's well worth a listen!
Over at Game of the Week Josh has been tearing his way through the terrifying Outlast Trials. The Thaumaturge has kept Miles busy in the ol' review codes, Kat has jumped into Final Fantasy for the FIRST TIME EVER with...er, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth whilst Rossko has been crushing it in the ring in WWE 2K24.
In recommendations Miles shares his thoughts on FFVII Rebirth, Kat talks to us about a ghost story podcast named Ghost Huns, whilst Josh takes us to the spice wars in Dune Part Two. And then there's some Taylor Swift chat, because of course there is.

WB Games Tank Kill The Justice League, Microsoft announce their PS5 games and Little Devil Inside is back?!
This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko returns to the hosting chair - after a bit of an altercation with Josh - with Kat, Miles and the returning Yogdog all joining in to get through the weeks news as quick as possible. And boy there is a lot this week.
First up we talk the disappointing sales of Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League and the factors that may have made it happen. WB Games are not happy with how well it's done and we try and break down the reasons why (reason one - WB Games).
We also talk the possibility of PSVR 2 becoming compatible on PC's to allow users to play PC VR games. We talk to Josh about this one and it opens an interesting discussion regarding ballooning budgets in games which may have lead to this decision. Well, that and PlayStation are not supporting the device well enough.
We also head back to the Nintendo Director Showcase to work through our highlights and follow that up with the four games Microsoft are bringing to PlayStation in the next few months - namely Grounded, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush.
Oh, and we also get into the brand new DLC trailer for Elden Ring. PHEW!
And in Game of the Week Josh has been playing a hell of a lot more of Helldivers II, Kat played a ton of Detroit: Become Human, Miles has been spreading democracy with Helldivers but also checking out the almighty Terminator Dark Fate Defiance, Yogdog has been playing his favourite game of all time in Battle Brothers whilst Rossko has been getting his PC gaming on in Minecraft?!

Are Xbox are sharing their games whilst PlayStation don't have any this year? Also, no Nintendo Switch 2 till 2025?
Hello everyone, it's me again, the harbinger of podcast nightmares to once again tell you about this week's episode of the Finger Guns Podcast - but you can call me Josh. This week the gang are back! Discussing the cryptic business lingo Phil Spencer talked at minimal length about the future of Xbox, during their special podcast. Shorter than my solo one last week, just saying Phil.
Moreover, Nintendo Switch 2's launch has been pushed into 2025, along with no major first-party PlayStation releases for this year! How will we all cope? Probably by cleaning up our backlogs that have been tutting at us in the corners of our gaming library for 2 years.
We see the return of Miles' wonderfully whacky picture quiz, the perfect formula for an audio platform. Am I the winner? Silly question, I'm always the winner. Games of the Week include the brilliantly understated puzzle adventure Röki, of course, Helldivers 2, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. All that, as well as some purr-fect recommendations and more on this week's Finger Guns Podcast!

Is this the first AAAA? What is going on over at Xbox? Where has everyone gone?!
Hi there, everyone. I know it must be weird to see Rossko's name not on the publishing for this. Instead, you have me! Josh, taking over for hosting duties whilst the gang go on a well-deserved holiday. In this episode of the Finger Guns Podcast, I hog all of the games of the week, because it's MY show and I'll talk about as many games that I've played as I want. I talk about the newly anticipated title from Don't Nod, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and the recent demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and I update everyone on Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
More importantly on the news side of things, Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot claims that the $70 price tag for a game that features live-service elements is warranted. As the game itself is worthy of the AAAA status. What does that mean? I champion Helldivers 2 from a distance in the name of Miles as it breaks Sony's launch number records.
And I thoroughly recommend not taking on a podcast by yourself, always do it with some friends it's probably much better that way. Unless you make enough fuss that this episode is awesome. Inflate my ego, please. Enjoy the latest episode of The Finger Guns Podcast.

Customer Reviews
A podcast for gaming that’s been desperately needed.
Listening to Fingerguns is like that feeling you get when you hold a SNES controller in your hands just after flipping that glorious on switch to load your favourite game.
If you need further explanation to that, it’s a pretty dam satisfying and enjoyable podcast full of greatness and is never dull.. unless you were a Megadriver then that analogy might not work for you but sod you, you made the mistake getting a megadrive over a SNES back then and you probably don’t deserve a podcast this good. Off you scoot.
