    A warm welcome to the Framework Podcast! Join us for a brief introduction episode into the background of our hosts, Martin and Kat, and how the idea of this podcast was born. Martin gives an insight into his professional athlete background and his current career as a highly specialised sports chiropractor with an enormous body of experience in both team sports and single athletes. And our second host, Kat, gives us an overview of her academic path and career so far researching the human cardiovascular system in different cardiac disease settings as well as developing novel therapeutics for cardiovascular disease treatment.
