Glossary

ADM: Automated Decision Making, the process of making a decision by automated means without any human involvement e.g. a refund for an Amazon purchase to be returned; an online decision to award a loan.

Blockchain: a secure, encrypted, peer-to-peer transaction ledger used to record transactions

AI: Artificial Intelligence, an area of computer science which aims to create ‘intelligent’ machines (computers).
