Other than aiming high and being high a great deal of the time, he finds time to dig deep into political, pressing and poignant matters as well as the literal earth as he challenges people and demographics to conversation on one hand; himself on the other, as he disappears regularly into the earth as avid freestyle spelunker.

This week we are joined by iAM13E on The Gimson & Rosko Show.

iAM13E is a Bristol-based MC & Spoken-Word Poet & Beat-maker. Wordplay, interesting flows and concept based tracks. Expect to hear him on many genres including, Hip Hop, Jazz, Trap, Drill, DNB & World Music. Wherever there is an opportunity to rhyme he is there.

Recent singles "You Know What I Mean", “Box”, “WeR1” and "New To This" have been played on BBC Radio Bristol, BCFM and many more. He is currently working on his debut EP "He(Art) Space" and debut solo project "Shadow Integration".

iAM13E facilitates Hip Hop / Rhyming workshops for kids, adults and in corporate settings. The intention is for human beings to find their voice. And to use it with confidence.

When not on the mic, iAM13E is a Structural Integration Bodywork Practitioner, Reiki Master, Creative Coach, Speaker and Workshop facilitator. His focus is on exploring human potential, outside of the norm.

We're joined by a long time friend of ours Michael Jenkins for episode 35 of The Gimson & Rosko Show.

Michael is a self-shooting director, producer and writer. He's the co-founder of Blak Wave Productions and a new black arts space. He was recently voted among the 100 most influential people in Bristol in the BME power list of 2018.

Michael has won multiple awards including Best Short film for ‘Check the Label’ at The Royal Television Society Awards 2018 and two BBC Local Radio Gillard Awards for the Diversity and Community award categories. Recently he directed his first short for CBBC, Topknot or not, part of the BAFTA/BFI Network Crew 2020 and a TV Collective Future Breakthrough Leader 2021. His latest film is called Pickney which is supported by the BFI.

This week on The Gimson & Rosko Show I am joined by an old friend and collaborator of mine, Adi (Twisted RootZ) with the absence of Rosko - He'll be back on episode 37.

Adi is a primary school teacher, music maker and avid meditation practitioner. On the episode we discussed teaching, meditation, affirmations, learning languages, making music and much more. 

We had Markie Bee back on to host the final episode of 2021.

This weeks episode is slightly different as we are the ones being interviewed by Markie instead of the usual half ass attempt at us interviewing our guests. We dig into where it started for us, the journey and a few embarrassing moments.
