At the start of June, we held our very first EdTech Summit. Bringing together educators from Apple Education communities, our guests shared a series of keynotes of unmissable topics and collectively ideate on the latest integrations and innovations in educational technology.

Parkdale Primary School, part of Transform Trust, successfully achieved Apple Distinguished School status at the end of last year. Jigsaw24 were proud to have supported Parkdale through their application process. To celebrate, we hosted an ADS open day event, where Parkdale opened their doors for a limited number of educators to experience their success and witness the power of iPad in the classroom for transformative learning opportunities. Bett UK took place at the end of January, bringing together educators and leaders in the EdTech space to showcase ideas, methodology and best practice to meet the ever growing demands on school's and trusts. Everyone can play a part in Jigsaw24’s Education campaign to raise awareness of the role of women in technology, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2024. For the second year, we have been running a campaign with schools to see how creative digital tools can help promote this message and showcase the possibilities. Today women make up around 50% of the UK workforce. Yet in tech, that number is half, with just 24% of roles filled by women. 77% of tech leaders are men. We've let students from schools across the UK loose to help us record this special celebration episode.
