Overall I found The Butterfly Effect and The Last Days of August to be exceptional pieces of work. Jon Ronson still has the skill of finding interesting people and stories to match. A great storyteller and journalist. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Jon Ronson on two occasions. He was approachable and easy to talk to. A very nice man. I look forward to his future projects

Brilliant

I give quite a few podcasts 5 stars but on that scale this is at least 7. So thorough, so nuanced. Circles round and round on the story and slowly bores into it. Great journalism, and a lot of hard work put in

Completely agree with other non-5 stars

Excellent but inconsistent. A great podcast and well recommended but it feels like a polish from an editor could have kept it more on-track or nuanced. Is probably one episode too long. But did enjoy and the circuitous nature of the varying points-of-view are fascinating. Everything is shades of grey.
