The World's Hardest Puzzle
Archive is an investigative documentary series hosted by Tommie Trelawny and Nicky Anderson. Following the success of The Interruption, listeners can expect another captivating story from Season Two: The World's Hardest Puzzle. In 2012, a mysterious organisation known as Cicada 3301 announced itself on the message board, 4chan. The cryptic post appeared online, seeking 'highly intelligent individuals.' What followed became known as the hardest puzzle on the internet. One that took players across the internet and into real-world locations. After two years of enigmatic posting, it disappeared - and was never seen again. The final puzzle was never solved. Nearly a decade later, Tommie Trelawny and Nicky Anderson decide to take on Cicada 3301 for themselves. Who was behind these mysterious puzzles? And what did they want to achieve? Hosted on Acast. Gave up after first episode
10 Mar
I really wanted to love this but decided to bail after episode one. If it was a film I’d say it was a bit slow. Some podcasts have a brilliant idea but take so long to get to it I lose interest. Taking six episodes to say what could be said in four is frustrating. Probably my failing. Sorry!
Great season 1, underwhelming season 2

I thoroughly enjoyed season 1 - well paced, good story arc and interesting investigation. Season 2 was underwhelming - it felt like they got 5 episodes in, realised they were never going to do what they set out to do, and had to settle on a roundabout wishy-washy conclusion which is thought-provoking but a let down for the listener.
Does too much with too little material

An interesting idea but the team drags so much out of it that they completely kill any spark it had. I gave up when they started making their own puzzle. Such a blatantly desperate ploy for content.
The interruption
25 Mar
I agree with other reviews that this is a bit slow and could have been concluded much sooner. I did stick with it and it was ok, very average, but did feel like giving up sooner as the content was a bit weak. I do wonder if this is targeted at a much younger audience. I also found many of the words over pronounced as others have pointed out
