Love the Lovecraft

Great podcast, I admire Lovecraft stories and language. I appreciated the discussion of Lovecraft‘s racism. It is striking, but used to evoke disgust concerning his stranger/outsider themes even if he was a racist himself. The modern ear can‘t help but cringe at it. Writers that write in his idiom or use his mythos such as Charlie Stross‘s and William Meikle Peter Cline‘s show how lovecraft‘s ideas don’t require or promulgate racism, his themes have grown so far beyond that rubbish.
