‘The deep clear and sure kind of love’ with Abigail Brown S3 EP6

‘The deep clear and sure kind of love’ with Abigail Brown S3 EP6

One  of my absolute favourite episodes yet. We talk leadership, femininity, motherhood, miscarriages, business, redefining gender roles, what makes a successful marriage and being a Forbes featured business woman!Abigail Brown is one of my nearest and dearest friends, we lived with each other at uni and have been friends ever since, more recently i have engaged Abi as my business coach. Abi has been married to her husband Dan for nearly 20 years! Her wedding was actually the first wedding I’d ever attended in our early twenties. Together they have three children and practice conscious parenting.

Abi is one of the Co-founder's of The Simple Folk; sustainable, non-toxic and ethical ‘slow fashion’ for the wild-hearted minimalist.

With an incredible following and community (particularly on Instagram), they have been featured in Forbes, Vogue, People magazine, Hello, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Milk Magazine and more. As they have grown, The Simple Folk has become known not only for ethical fashion and conscious lifestyle but also for empowering women. As well as being female led, they are predominantly female operated and are a part of the change for women collective that champions women and children all over the world. You can follow Abi on @thesimplefolkco You can follow Dominy on @dominyroeIf you want to work on developing healing and healthy habits to that enables you to leave a legacy of love and break generational cycles get in touch with Dominy for coaching, programmes and tools to take radical responsibility and create your personal power.

    The Addiction Episode S3 EP5

    The Addiction Episode S3 EP5

Welcome to Season 3 of The Path To Power Podcast.

In this episode I reflect on my journey so far in stopping smoking. At the age of 31 years old I stopped after reading a book however, in recent years I started smoking again. Initially socially, then every few months, then every few weeks, then every few days until days became hours and I was a full time smoker again!

The link I mentioned for an introduction into Gabor Mate’s work is here: https://youtu.be/HnSZXVueXWs

‘I stopped lying to myself, I told the truth’ with Chris Wild S3 EP4

‘I stopped lying to myself, I told the truth’ with Chris Wild S3 EP4

In this episode I talk with one of the most inspiring, passionate and authentic men I’ve met so far. Chris Wild is an author, care home consultant, government advisor and national youth advisor for young people. Chris is an advocate and campaigner and regularly appears on national television to give his perspective. Possibly most importantly, he is a careleaver, husband and father.

In this episode Chris vulnerably shares the impact of some of his early childhood trauma and life living in childrens homes and how these experiences have shaped him and his adult relationships. Chris also shares of the powerful lessons and growth on his journey, his success and how he continues to turn his adversity into advantage.

You can follow Chris on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ccwild79/

The Red Flag Episode S3 EP3

The Red Flag Episode S3 EP3

Welcome to Season 3 of The Path To Power Podcast.

In this episode I reflect on this month’s Finding Freedom Women’s Collective meet up where we discussed red flags.. however, not as you may be used to hearing about them! We flip reversed and reflected on our own red flags which inevitably led to me writing a whole page of mine lol!

The books I mentioned in today’s episode are:

    -       All About Love – Bell Hooks

    -       Healing The Shame That Binds Us – John Bradshaw

    -       Healing Developmental Trauma – Laurence Heller and Aline LaPierre

Information on the Attachment Recovery Gym which I mention in this episode can be found @attachment.recovery.gym or by following Carly Ann on @carly.ann_
