    Graham Bell meets journalist and broadcaster Louise Minchin.

    Louise has a brilliant career across radio and television. She has worked as a host of BBC Radio Five Live presenting the drivetime show, plus a range of other programs. She was one of the main news anchors on BBC News 24 before joining BBC Breakfast in 2012. She's also a key presenter of the BBC's triathlon coverage. But Louise not only reports on sport, she also competes in it. She completed her first triathlon in 2013 and then went on to qualify for the GB team, for her age group, and raced in the Chicago World Championships in 2015.

    Since then, she's raced in five World and European Championships and gone on to compete in extreme triathlons, including one of the toughest in the world, the Norseman in 2019. Louise has recently been absent from our TV screens recovering from a horrific foot injury, but thankfully she’s almost back to full fitness.

    Chelcee has worked with Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, the Saturdays and Kesha. She's also a very talented footballer: her past clubs include Liverpool Ladies, Tottenham Hotspur Ladies and Fulham.

    Chelcee is also starting out on a broadcasting career, working on the Match of the Day spinoff show Match of the Day XL for BBC Two. She's also presenting segments of the NFL End Zone on Channel Five. In lockdown, she launched her own podcast called ‘What Could Have Been’, interviewing stars of music and sport.

    Colin Jackson is one of the greatest athletes ever to come from the UK.  His 110 metre hurdles World Record of 12.91 seconds stood for 13 years, and his World Indoor Record for the 60 metres hurdles still stands today!

    His impressive medal haul is matched by his equally remarkable broadcasting career: he has covered every major athletics event for the BBC since 2004.

    He’s since become an important figurehead for diversity, inclusion and mental health. He recently discussed his battle with bulimia on BBC1’s Panorama programme, and he talks openly and honestly about the challenges he’s faced throughout his career: anxiety, race and sexuality.

    Kirsty has a huge passion for health and fitness and trains at least 3 to 4 times a week with her trainer. Alongside her broadcast work, Kirsty continues to be involved in Soccer Aid – the charity football match which pits celebrities against legendary footballers.

    In this episode Kirsty explains how important sessions with her personal trainer are to maintaining her physical and mental well-being, and describes how she balances a busy working life with an equally busy family life.
