The Random Wrestling Review is an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour which focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. The podcast is currently trawling through the history of Wrestlemania, covering each event one-by-one, taking in the good, the bad, the ugly and the nonsense. Previously, we featured shows stretching from 1984 through to 2021 from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Ben, Tom, Matt and Stephen as they seek out the perfect wrestling show. Listeners beware, this show is not suitable for young ears!

The Game: The 2023 PWI 500
It's the penultimate match in Round Robin where we are looking to crown a Champion of the The Game! This time around Alex and Old Man face the test of naming people in the PWI 500 from the 2023 list. Old Man's challenge for the overall title collapsed in his last 2 matches and so is now just playing for pride, meanwhile, 'Rockstar' Alex is still undefeated after 2 matches and goes into this one guaranteed to still have a chance of winning the overall title, no matter what happens here. Not quite a dead rubber for Alex however, as a win would ensure that he would hold the slimmest of advantages going into the last match of the round robin, against Stephen Coriander.

WWE King of the Ring 2000
In a strange turn of events, it transpired that at the King of the Ring 2000, the WWE Title would be defended in a 6-man tag match, as Champion Triple H, lined up alongside his in-laws, Shane and Vince McMahon against The Rock, Undertaker and Kane- the stipulation being that if any member of The Rock's team should pin any member of Triple H's, then that man would become Champion. In addition to the strange booking of the main event, the tournament looked set for a few classics along the way, as Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero all took their place in the bracket- would WWE take advantage of the situation...? Find out on this week's show...

The RWR 25
You've heard of the PWI 500 and the PS 50, well now it's time for the RWR 25- a similar idea but with a twist, because this is the definitive ranking of the 25 best wrestlers in the history of...this podcast.
To be eligible for inclusion in the 25, a wrestler must have appeared in at least 10% of our reviews as at 31st December 2023. Each of our regular hosts has voted for their personal 25, and these have been amalgamated to create the list presented to you today!

RWR Now: Twist, Stick or Bust (WWE Raw Roster)
In the wake of Wrestlemania XL, our team goes through the WWE Raw roster and determine whether each one should be a 'twist' (pushed higher than they are now), a 'stick' (kept in pretty much the same position) or a 'bust' (either push them down the card, or let them go entirely).

WWE Wrestlemania XL- Night 2
It's time for the Random Wrestling Review to finish it's story as the Wrestlemania series finally comes to an end (at least for a year) with Cody Rhodes' victory against Roman Reigns in the main event of Night 2 of Wrestlemania XL. After a multi-year build and the involvement of half the roster, including The Rock, Cody Rhodes got his win over Reigns in an epic and emotional contest. Underneath, Bayley challenged Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship, the US Title was on the line between Logan Paul, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins defended the World Heavyweight Title opposite Drew McIntyre.

Great podcast
Have had a lot of time up in the night over the last six months with a new baby, and this podcast has been a great companion to me. Love the format, love the tone, really enjoy listening to episodes about shows I’ve seen, and equally enjoy eps about shows I haven’t seen too. Thanks lads for being friendly voices in my ear all hours of the night.
