Van is old: have you heard of him, lad?
House of R now rightly has its own feed but I’m going to continue with both! That and this are the only regular Star Wars critiques worth engaging with: never wholly positive or negative, but always detailed and funny and from a place of deep knowledge… 🎧👍🏾

Enjoyed this feed for a long time. Just listened to midnight boys ahsoka episode 3. And had to turn it off. People can like what they like and I have no issues with someone disliking something I like. I found Charles constantly shaming Jomi and Van for the bits they liked and shouting over them to do it just too much. It felt that he was wanting to shame anyone who enjoyed the episode and that doesn’t feel like the spirit of fandom or the spirit of the ringerverse. Healthy debate is good but disagreements are good but saying someone only liked something “because they had a check from Kathleen Kennedy or that they bowed to Facebook pressure” I am not interested in listening to a podcast like that. He is totally free to express why he doesn’t enjoy the show but be happy that other people are enjoying something even if you don’t.
P.s I am subscribed to house of r and will listen to that every week and it’s my favourite podcast
