    Many Different Types of Sh*t | S3 | E7

Join Rachel, Sarah and Lucy for episode 7 of 'The Skies We’re Under', as they navigate one plumbing disaster after another.
Life can throw both figurative and literal sh*t our way sometimes. The trio reflect on this with their usual good humour and lack of filter.
It’s also friends and family day today, with not one, but two cameos from our family members! We talk about how we cope with helpful comments that aren’t so helpful, and how to appreciate those around us who try and understand the skies we’re under, even if they aren’t under the same rain cloud (or sh*t storm - whatever you prefer.)
We’d love to hear from you – we love sharing stories, we love hearing how things are going, the good, the bad, the snotty-crying ugly.

LornaSaun ,

So needed for so many

This podcast is such a breath of fresh air for so many people I know.
As a paediatric physio and owner of Positive Steps Physiotherapy I have learned so much listening to this and love being able to share it with the families I work with.
At Positive Steps we try our hardest to help our families and not fall in to the traps that are talked about on here, don't call me Mum, do what you say you're going to do and find out what matters to our families on that day! We also have students with us and it's a huge part of their placement gaining a little more insight into the journey parents are on and the skies they're under!! If we can help them understand a little more then hopefullly bit by bit it will make a difference to all the families out there that are finding it hard. That's why this podcast is on our students placement resource list...so thank you ❤️

A god send!! 🙏🏽

Thank you Rachel, Lucy & Sarah for making me feel part of something.
An amazing podcast I haven’t stopped listening since I was told about it.
Rachel hosts such an honest, funny and relatable narrative. I have laughed out loud in public at the brutal honesties of what it is like being a parent to a child with complex needs.
Three years into my journey and still finding my way - The Skies We’re Under has provided me with a friend in my ear and the support and reassurance that what I am feeling is “normal” what ever that is!

Hellie1971 ,

Thank you

As a (mainly) night carer this has been an amazing insight into the lives of the families I work with. Obviously we do talk about some of these issues but discussions are not as in-depth as on this podcast. It is good to really see the other side. Oh and yes sometimes we do know but I’m sure not always 😉 (S2, ep16)
