    6. Why Are Brides Given Away?

One of the most memorable moments of any wedding day is when the bride walks down the aisle. It’s the first time guests, and usually the soon to be husband or wife (in the case of a same sex marriage) will see THE DRESS!  Traditionally, Fathers walk their Daughters down the aisle. Once they reach the altar, the bride is then presented to her partner to be wed.  In this episode, I share insights in relation to this time honoured tradition and answer the question 'why are brides given away?'

    3. Who Should You Invite To Your Wedding?

For so many of the couples I speak to, guest list management is a bit of a conundrum.  It accounts for one of the most frequently talked about sources of stress.  Compiling your wedding guest list is probably one of the first things you'll do when you start wedding planning.  For some couples, it's a straight-forward process.  For others - well - it's a lot less clear-cut.  When it comes to asking yourself who you should invite to your wedding, there are no hard and fast rules.

In this episode, I'm going to share insights and offer some advice to help you to determine whose names should be included in your guest list.

    2. Wedding Planning - How Long Does It Take?

    2. Wedding Planning - How Long Does It Take?

According to various reports and well publicised statistics, the average couple spends somewhere between 12 and 18 months planning their wedding. I'm not a fan of the word ‘average’. It’s a term I try to avoid in the context of wedding planning! In reality, the amount of time couples spend actually planning their wedding varies massively. Some elope with a few weeks of instigating the preparations, while others spend years getting very single detail of their big day absolutely right.

In this episode, I'm going to share insights and offer some advice to help you understand how much time YOU should expect to invest when it comes to planning your own wedding.
