Just what I want in podcast
I have loved True Crime since I was a teenager but I also have a weird sense of humour and Melissa and Daniel (well, especially Melissa who I might have a girl crush on, haha) are the perfect answer to this! I really enjoy how they present their cases, and I have a lot of respect for the time this must take especially Melissa to research and prepare. I listen to them when I walk the dog, drive to work, travel for work, do gardening, etc. etc.! I do recommend this podcast 100% to anybody who has an interest in true crime but also appreciates a bit of a sarcastic / humorous spin to it and appreciates normal people talking! Melissa and Daniel are normal people like you and I and they talk about other people like normal people do which I personally really appreciate! It is never disrespectful or rude, but it isn’t like a politician or trained media person either. I love the authenticity and that I might not always agree with all comments. It is real (which sounds so 2001 J.Lo., sorry!). Anyway keep it up, Melissa and Daniel! Lots of love from Eva (and Dan who has to “suffer” listening to it as well) 🤣
Give this a listen- you won’t be disappointed.
Melissa and Daniel create a wonderful mix of warmth, humour, banter, great storytelling and heart for their subject matter. The depth of their relationship is so obvious and fun to listen to, as they can make you laugh out loud with their banter at one point, and yet later relate with respect and poignancy the details of the case being covered. Thank you Melissa for the research you put in every week without fail and Daniel for the wonderful ‘factoids’!
