Jami Balmet’s podcasts and blogs have been like a lifeline for me for about 2 or 3 years now. Her Homemaking Foundations podcast and Homemaking Ministries Conference are chock full of helpful advice and guidance for women, mothers, marrieds, singles, working, stay-at-home...women at every stage in life. This podcast is a shortened version of her longer Homemaking Foundations podcast but is just as informative, inspiring, educational and fun. As a successful work-from-home Mom of 5 under 5 and a woman who clearly cares for others and provides regular hospitality to those in her community, she would have a lot to boast about. I mean, you have to be pretty on top of things to get everything done that she gets done on a daily basis. But she never boasts. She shows us her sometimes messy home (on her YouTube A Day In The Life of the Balmets videos), she talks about being late for church sometimes, she goes on Facebook live in her robe with her first cup of coffee for the day. She is so down to earth, so real, so personable, and so funny that she makes you realize we are all in this together, and if she can do it, (whether that’s daily chore routines, meal planning, daily bible reading, hospitality, starting up a business, etc) maybe I can, too!
