James wrote He-Man and She-Ra: A Complete Guide to the Classic Animated Adventures and brings his extensive knowledge of animated He-Man to this discussion. We dive into the effect of the FCC easing its ban on toy based cartoons that opened the door for the Filmation series, our first experiences with the Internet, and whether or not James is a believer in Wonder Bread He-Man.

Masters of the Universe: 1983
Join Jay and Dan with special guest Jay from Sludge Central and the Purple Stuff Podcast as they talk about Masters of Universe in 1983, the second year of the toyline. MOTU still didn’t reach its peak in ’83 but there were a lot of iconic releases like Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, Panthor and Point Dread. ’83 had the best run of Mini-Comics and the start of the Filmation series.
