In this episode of Cool Story Bro, I caught up with Noh Salleh who is no stranger when it comes to Malaysia's music scene. Noh Salleh is a Malaysian singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of the rock band Hujan, with whom they have released six studio albums. He is also an entrepreneur and founder of Hikari Riders. In this episode of Cool Story Bro, there is no guest per say but I will be talking about recent controversial issues that happened recently in Malaysia. First being Haoren, who is a Youtuber/Influencer who recently released an offensive 'brownface' music video to promote a skin whitening drink. Also I found out that his apology video is monetised :) Secondly, I talked about a Malaysian lady who did something really questionable and last but not least I called Bryan Botak Chin to discuss about his recent drama with Streetwear Busta. In a nutshell, today's episode is all about tea.

Due to the recent lockdown we are now back working from home and in this week's episode, I caught up with Shawn from Againstlab who also happen to be my housemate hence why we are in the living room together. We've haven't been active due to Covid and work but now we're back. In this episode of Cool Story Bro we did a breakdown of 2020 using Fahmi Reza x Vice 2020 calendar, Jack Ma gate, US Capitol coup, some local news and more.   As we're recording this episode we were waiting for the government's announcement last Friday (8.1.2021) on whether we'll be in a lockdown only to find out that they are announcing it on Monday (11.1.2021).

In this episode of Cool Story Bro, Yim speaks to the Masses team in regards to the recent CMCO imposed by the government. We talked about what really caused us to go into lockdown again and the other current issues that we are currently facing nationwide. Are the government taking the right action to combat the spike in this pandemic? With that said, let's all abide by the current SOP and work together to combat this pandemic.
