When we look at first contact it's often from the view point of those who settled in what is now known as Canada. This podcast examines first contact and it's consequences from an Inuk perspective, allowing listeners to see the bigger picture that is not well known by the average Canadian. Is reconciliation possible with such different views of what history is? 

This podcast describes my personal experiences with the mental health care system in Nunavut, and the statistics that show that better accessibility needs to become a bigger priority.

In this podcast I discuss what intergenerational trauma is and how it's perpetuated by the continued genocide of Indigenous peoples. I talk about numbers of the missing and murdered, systematic discrepancies and cases that exemplify this,  Indigenous men, as well as some factors that contribute to MMIWG, and why awareness about this topic is important.
