Funny Story
This time was particularly fun as a few funny stories surfaced from self defense training while working at the penitentiary, to a surprising “process” when crossing the equator, to grandpa accidentally surprising train travelers on a trip with Grace.

One of the Best Things I’ve Done
Grandpa tells us about the jobs he had in the Navy and at the Penitentiary, Gabriola Island, and the first place him and a Grandma lived together. His Navy jobs start to end were: Ordinary Seaman, Able Seaman, Leading Seaman, Petty Officer Second Class, Petty Officer First Class, Chief Petty Officer Second Class. His Penitentiary jobs start to end were: Security Officer, Assistant Shift Supervisor, Coordinator of Correctional Operations (C.C.O), Junior Manager.

The Overview- Part 2
Grandpa picks up where he left off- he had just married Grandma but only had enough money for one return ticket so he returned to Victoria and Grandma joined him later. In this conversation he shares from them being reunited in Victoria all the way until he resigns from the Navy after 23 years of service.
